 Peter Barnes Vice President of Human Resources
The Vice President develops innovative, cost effective approaches to human resources issues in a diverse and complex organization. Human Resources (HR) includes Benefits, Compensation, Data Services, Employment, Faculty Staff Assistance Program, and Organizational Development. The Division of Human Resources provides leadership in sustaining Emory as an “employer of choice”. We promote and foster an environment of excellence. We support diversity, individual development and fair treatment of all employees as core values of Emory’s mission of teaching, research and healthcare to improve human well-being. We are committed to working proactively as a strategic partner with all levels of the organization, enhancing organizational effectiveness throughout Emory and establishing clear outcome goals and measures.
